Brewers Plate is happening May 13, 2015 and I’m hungry for its return. The charity event, in support of The Greenbelt Foundation, has 20 top chefs working with 20 craft breweries to create a dish made specifically for one of their brews. Chefs include Chopped Canada winner, Anne Sorrenti and Ontario breweries like Descendants Beer and MacKinnon Brewing, both of which are making stellar brews that are hard to find in Toronto.
Tickets are $95 each. That’s steep for an Ontario beer event, but I can tell you from experience, it’s worth every penny: you’ll get unlimited food and brews and a chance to savour new ideas and classic matches in beer and food pairing in Canada.
Location: Corus Quay 25 Dockside Drive Toronto, ON
Time: 6:00-11:00 p.m.
Contest Rules: Must be a resident of Canada. Must provide own transportation to and from the event. Must be 19 years of age or older to enter.
